Preheat oven to 350F
Lay down crackers side by side on a parchment-lined baking sheet and set aside, this will be the base to the recipe
Chop the bacon into small squares and cook until crispy, set bacon aside, drain grease and using the same pan, add butter and brown sugar to cook. Allow butter to melt, and come to a boil with the brown sugar mixed in. Stir constantly for about 3 minutes until well incorporated
Pour the sugary mixture over the crackers and spread as evenly as possible, but some variation is fine.
Layer the bacon and chocolate chips on top and place in preheated oven to bake for 7-10 minutes. The sugar will puff up and crystalize while baking. Make sure nothing burns.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely - remove parchment paper with food on it, so the bottom doesn't keep cooking on the hot tray.
Break apart and serve!
