Preheat your oven or smoker to 400F
Lay down one slice of bacon on your clean work surface and roll up tightly halfway. With remaining bacon, twist it 2-3 times and wrap the twisted part around the rolled up half
Secure with 2 toothpicks in an "X" formation to hold together
Place on wire rack and season
Place into oven or smoker to cook for 50-60 minutes, you're wanting a dark amber color on the outside, but not burnt. The inside will be softer, than the outside.
While the roses are cooking, combine the glaze ingredients and add to smoker for last about 5 minutes at the end of your cook to melt and combine
Once butter is melted, stir well and add 1 TBSP each to the roses
Remove once glazed and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving
