Preheat oven to 350F
While oven is preheating, prepare your bread bowl by cutting the top off with a small serrated knife, and pulling out the bread from the inside in chunks. You want to leave a 1-2 inch thick shell to hold the dip
In a mixing bowl combine French Onion Dip, bacon, and 1 C mozzarella cheese. Mix well to combine
Spoon dip mixture into the bread bowl, and top with remaining shredded cheese.
Bake at 400F for 40-50 minutes or until dip is warm inside and top of cheese is melted.
OPTIONAL: Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes to put a nice char on the cheese on top.
Remove when done, and serve hot with pieces of sourdough removed from inside of bread bowl
