French Toast Breakfast Dogs

French Toast Mixture
Maple Hot Sauce
Preheat your griddle to medium-high heat
Separate your breakfast sausage into 4 equal parts, set aside
In a bowl, combine the eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar, and milk and whisk together until well combined
Dip your hot dog buns into this mixture quickly on each side. Do not leave in for more than about 1 second -they'll get soggy that way.
In a separate heat-safe container, mix maple syrup and hot sauce well and place on griddle to heat up.
Place sausage on hot griddle, and cook on each side rotating to ensure that none of the sides burn
Place about 2 TBSP butter down on the hot griddle and place the french toast buns on it to cook about - 3-4 minutes per side until they start to crisp up but not burn. Flip and cook opposite side. You'll know they're done when there is no more moisture on the bread.
Remove bread when cooked and set aside. Continue cooking sausage until cooked through to a temperature of over 165F internal.
Build french toast dogs by placing cooked sausage inside of the french toast hot dog bun, and add the maple hot sauce, and powdered sugar over the top.
Serve hot
