Candied Bacon Pretzels

Preheat your oven or smoker to 250F
In a large mixing bowl combine: brown sugar, black pepper and red pepper, mix well
Coat individual strips of bacon in the dry mixture until well-covered
Wrap 1 full bacon slice around each pretzel rod
Place on wire rack and into smoker or oven for 20 minutes
Increase temperature to 400F and cook for 10-15 more minutes until bacon is cooked to your liking. NOTE: the pretzel will feel flimsy toward the end of the cook - this is ok, when you take out of the oven it'll harden up.
Serve hot
